What To Expect

Mayfield Garden has been designed to make the best of the autumn colours. With the change in season, we welcome you to join us to discover the expansive Private Garden at Mayfield during our 2 week Autumn Festival period.

Autumn Festival allows access to the garden during 15th – 30th of April to manicured garden stretching across the hillside, not usually open to the public featuring: The Birch Grove, Rose Garden, Creek Garden, Mayfield Cascade (80m cascade with temple source), The Aviary, walled kitchen garden and more – you’ll have to come and see for yourself!

James Reyne as well as performances by Boom Crash Opera, Matt Boylan Smith and dynamic duo, Smith & Jones.

We love great food and drink so we’ve carefully selected a range of the finest food and beverage vendors, treasured by the local community, to treat your tastebuds.This does mean, food can’t be brought into AutumnFest. However, we encourage you to bring chairs and blankets to sit on the grass and enjoy the entertainment.

Mayfield Garden have joined forces with D2F to begin your Sunday, the most perfect way… A fun RUN!

Start your day with a run or walk in and around the incredible garden.  An exclusive opportunity to explore the garden in a unique experience – All levels welcome – Free entry for all participants.

Registration begins from 8am

An exclusive weekend of Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness in this world class garden in beautiful autumn colours. 
This seasonal retreat includes access to the private garden (not open to the public), accomodation in the premium Mayfield Guesthouse and a garden to plate menu for all meals.

Arrive Friday afternoon, ease into the retreat with a yoga session with Jan. Followed by a communal feast, as you mingle with fellow yogi’s. Your weekend oasis will entail many slow-flow yoga & restore sessions, free time, meditations, and time for garden adventures exploring Australia’s largest cool climate garden.

Cool Climate Wine & Food Festival

The Cool Climate Wine Show has teamed up with Mayfield to create the Cool Climate Wine & Food Festival to celebrate world class cool climate wines from over 20 local vineyards, gourmet local cuisine from 10 local restaurants and delicious local produce all in one spectacular location – Mayfield Garden.

The best of local bands will keep you entertained. For the wine aficionados, there are two wine tutorials from the region’s leading winemakers, cooking demonstrations for the most discerning foodies and for the budding fashionistas the very popular Fashion in the Gardens competitions. Tickets go on sale May 1st.
