During the festival, access to part of the private garden include the Croquet Court, Rose, Sunken & Creek Garden as well as the Amphitheatre.
From the expansive Mayfield Lake with our Chinese Pagoda protruding, can be seen from the Stone Bridge, another spectacular feature, the picturesque Grotto with a cascading waterfall over beautiful local volcanic rock. The Copper Tree Fountain with small water drops cascading from its petite leaves that was purchased from the world famous Chelsea Flower Show, and a red curved Japanese bridge inspired from Monet’s Garden to beautiful board walks and cascading waterfalls throughout the garden all feel like you’re in Europe, but in the Central West.
Our golden gardeners, Matt & Alison lead a tour of the Mayfield Kitchen Garden where the ingredients are picked by guests during the tour & delivered to Dan our kitchen maestro, to prepare for our signature, communal feast. Afterwards, guests will learn how to plant & maintain their own kitchen garden.
Learn to create unique combinations with mulled wine & ingredients from local innovator & mixologist, Tommy Griffiths. Held in our Garden Centre by our amazing blue stone fireplace. Matched with a whole wood fired “Swine” mastered by Mayfield Chefs.
